The Takayama Family (高山家) is a ninja family.
About
Takayama seems to be the name of the following:
- One of the Kōga 53 Houses.
- The House of two of the Eleven Ninja
Not much else is known about them.
- Iga
- Taroshiromon and Tarozaemon are from Iga[1]. Named after home district in Ueno.
- Koga
- Apparently, the family of Jesuit movement members and Satsu samurai Tomoteru (高山 友照) and his son Ukon (高山 右近). Also Lord Tazaemon (高山 濃太左衛門). It's speculated that the above mentioned Taroshiro and Tarozae are from Koga, thus the reason why Takayama is one of the Koga 53 Houses.
