Shiori (栞; しおり) is a fictional Iga Ninja in Seishin Series.
Creation and Concept
The theme behind Shiori is "adoption" and "the traditional image of women back in pre-modern days". Women were often depended upon on taking care of the children while the husband was the usual leader of the house, following after him in leadership was his son or elder brother. An orphaned Shiori was adopted into the Iga and trained as a tool. An intimate bond grows between her and Shoutarou. Female ninja use their gender to take advantage of men and are trained in disguise, recon, and poisons. Her name means "bookmark".

Background
Formerly from a scattered family, Shiori was a girl that was a part of a non-domestic sex trade until Tanba Momochi issued the order to the Tsukimori Family to break up the trade.
