The Shōninki (正忍記; true ninja chronicle) is a three-volume record of historical knowledge about ninjutsu.

The author Masatake Fujibayashi, (藤林 正武), who is the Founder of Kishu Ryu (School in Kii Province), wrote the Shōninki (Record of True Ninjutsu) in 1681. It was translated into english by researcher Anthony Cummins as "True Path of the Ninja"[1]. Masatake was also known as Natori Masazumi; in the Shoninki, Kotarō Fūma is mentioned.
