Mig-33 Valkirija (Вальки́рия), also called the Red Death and the Super Red Terror, is a fictional atomic-powered Russian fighter that appears in the story United We Soar.

Fiction Production[]

  • The word val'kírija (or valkirija), meaning "chooser of the dead", is the Old Norse form for Valkyrie. Valkyrie are female goddesses in Norse Mythology that selects people from the dead to take them to Vallhala and fight along side the God Odin during Ragnarok. In various poems, they are known to take part in battle.
  • Formerly called "Walkure" but that was the German and Dutch spelling of "Valkyrie".

Development/Role[]

The rival of the American Strike Lancer, it is the lead fighter of the People's Wings and is known for its red scheme. It was first used by the group's squadron commander The Red Baron. To recognize it, this aircraft is assigned the codename "Garnet" by U.S Forces and "Poppy" by British Forces.
